Welcome to JotMonkey
Setting up takes about 3 minutes. You can do it on this computer; keep your phone nearby for one step.
Enter your email and the temporary password, then choose your own password (12 or more characters; a few random words is easy to type and hard to guess).
After you choose your password, JotMonkey shows a page called One last step with a square code on it. Point your phone at it:
Get Google Authenticator (free)
In Google Authenticator tap +, then Scan a QR code, and point it at your computer screen. Type the 6-digit code it shows into the computer and click Finish.
It then opens in its own window, with the JotMonkey icon. To use JotMonkey on your phone too, open app.jotmonkey.com/start on the phone.
JotMonkey holds private information about the people we support. Federal law (HIPAA) requires us to protect it. Before you start:
- Sign the staff rules sheet with your administrator.
- Keep a screen lock on your phone and computer (PIN, password, face or fingerprint), and sign out on any shared computer.
- Never share your login or your codes. Never let anyone else use JotMonkey on your phone or computer.
- No screenshots or photos of JotMonkey. Write about residents only in JotMonkey, never in texts or other apps.
- Printouts stay at the home and get shredded.
- Lost phone or laptop? Tell your administrator the same day.
Stuck on a step? Ask your administrator: they can send a new temporary password.
